ADA Intuition (Atticus x Capucine; see a five-generation pedigree) is a 2005 chestnut mare, Kuhaylan Haifi by strain. The younger of our two Capucine fillies, her name refers to the process of choosing her sire. Quipped one friend after seeing her, “Never mind ‘Intuition,’ you should name her ‘Brilliance.’”
The top two photos show her earning a score of 70.9 in a USDF Dressage Sport Horse Breeding class, August 2007. Next she is shown at five months, photo by Carol Mingst. Last, she is going Top Four Pacific Slope Champion Sport Horse Mare in June 2007 (yes, as a two year old showing against mature mares. And yes, she developed that much in the seven weeks between the top picture and the bottom one. Aren't babies fun?)
