ADA Intuition (Atticus x Capucine; see a five-generation pedigree) is a 2005 chestnut mare, Kuhaylan Haifi by strain. The younger of our two Capucine fillies, her name refers to the process of choosing her sire. Quipped one friend after seeing her, “Never mind ‘Intuition,’ you should name her ‘Brilliance.’” Her barn name is "Poppy."

Started by John Straussberger and Heather Bailey of Phoenix Farms, Poppy is going well in the ring and hacking out, and is starting small jumps. She has elegant hunter-style movement and a solid work ethic. Offered for sale at $4500. Price will increase with training.

The next photo shows her earning a score of 70.9 in a USDF Dressage Sport Horse Breeding class, August 2007. Next, she is going Top Four Pacific Slope Champion Sport Horse Mare in June 2007 (yes, as a two year old showing against mature mares. And yes, she developed that much in the seven weeks between the first photo and the second. Aren't babies fun?) Last, she is shown at five months, photo by Carol Mingst.
